OUR STORY

Hey! We are Myles & Dee. Our story started in 2006 when God began intertwining our lives. After being friends for six years, we fell in love with each other and the call that the Lord placed in our hearts. While dating, Myles lived in China as a missionary for seven months, while Dee lived abroad in Sydney, Australia, and served at a local church. It became very clear during this time that our heart was to bring the love and gospel of Jesus to everyone.

We got married in October 2012 and immediately started serving at a local church in Orlando, Florida. Dee served as the Worship Pastor and Myles became the full-time Youth Pastor and Executive Family Pastor. In August of 2014, the Lord gave us our greatest assignment and we became parents! Adelynn Grace was born August 16th, 2014 and four quick years later, on June 5th, 2018, our second daughter, Brooklyn Joy, joined our little family.

We describe ourselves as “people people.” We love family, community, and helping friends live out the purpose and calling that God has for them.

Our Heart

Without ever traveling there or having any connection to it, God has given us a heart for Dallas. In September 2020, the Lord spoke to us about Dallas over and over again. The Holy Spirit showed Myles a vision of a diamond-shaped building. Without knowing what Dallas looked like, he did a quick google search to see the “Dallas Skyline” only to find, there it was…The diamond building from the vision.

For the months to follow, God sent people to us to confirm that we were called to Dallas. We could write an entire magazine just talking about all of the ways God showed us through people, prophetic words, and the Bible that we had to go to Dallas in 2021 to plant a church. God spoke clearly that there are thousands of believers who will sit in church on Sundays to hear the Word, but never leave the church to go do it. There is a call on their lives and we are going to remind them.

God has called us to: “Awaken the sleeping giant.”

Our Vision

Raise them up. Jesus called so many to follow Him, but not everyone does; who follows someone they don’t know? The first step to following Jesus is knowing Jesus. The more you know Him, the further you’ll go to follow Him and live a life full of faith.

No matter how much you know about the Word, everyone needs to find freedom in Jesus. Many of us have lived in bondage to past sins, strongholds and mindsets and have allowed these things to keep us from living the call of God on our lives. We need Jesus to set us free and who the Son sets free is free indeed.

Send them out. Many are called, few are chosen. The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Jesus said the greatest command was to love God and the second was to love people. We have been called, not only to follow Jesus, but to love people enough to share the gospel of Jesus with them. If we say we love people, we must love them enough to give them the greatest gift we have received. Jesus’ last words before ascending into heaven were: “Go make disciples.” It’s not enough to just find freedom in Jesus, we must be willing to bring freedom to the ends of the earth.

Our Beliefs

It’s all about Jesus.

We believe that because of the sacrifice and love of Jesus, we can have eternal life and an eternal relationship with God. Jesus is not only our Savior, He is our Lord. This means if he asks, commands, or calls us to do something, we must be ready to say “Yes, Lord! Here I am, send me!”

It’s not about us, but it is for us.

We believe that everyone is here to have a personal and intimate relationship with Jesus. In John 14, Jesus tells us the Holy Spirit is coming to dwell in us. We believe everyone has the ability to hear from the Lord and encounter His presence no matter where they are (not just on Sunday mornings at Church).

It’s not just for us, it’s also through us.

God created each of us with a purpose in mind (Ephesians 2) and it is our responsibility to find out what that is so we can serve His Kingdom. He has given each of us gifts and now is the time to use them. If not now, then when? If not here, then where? If not us, then who? v

It’s time to go.
